“Can AI draw a floor plan from my description?”
Yes. Start with the image generator above when you want to compare arrangements visually. Include the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the exterior width and depth, and where the entrance belongs. Dimensions in an AI image still need checking.
“Which tool should I use for my project?”
Use the editor for an existing plan image, room design for a room photograph, and room planning for a bed, desk or sofa arrangement. Read the workflow comparison if you are unsure.
How to Create a Floor Plan in 3 Steps
1. Separate fixed features from wishes
List the size, units, rooms and entry side. Mark existing stairs, windows and services as fixed. Put optional ideas, such as an open kitchen or extra storage, in a separate sentence.
2. Generate one clear starting version
Select “AI image concept” above, sign in with Google, choose the drawing style and label language, and submit the brief. New accounts receive 3 credits; a delivered image uses 1 credit. For example:
Create a top-down concept for a 10 m wide by 15 m deep, single-storey home. Include three bedrooms, one shared bathroom and an open kitchen/living area. Put the entrance on the east side. Use English room labels.
This is a sample brief, not a guarantee that an image will meet those dimensions.
3. Refine the current image
Keep the current result and describe one change at a time. The image workflow carries the current image and earlier requirements into the next revision. Choose “Start a new plan instead” only when you want a fresh concept. Each delivered revision uses credits.
Floor Plan Editor

Rename template rooms, add notes, and mark the details that need attention. Image annotations sit over the picture; they do not automatically move the building geometry beneath them.
After using the floor plan creator, use a separate revision instruction when the arrangement itself needs to change. Describe one important change at a time and compare the revised image with the earlier version. This makes it easier to notice unwanted changes to neighboring rooms.

A line drawing explains arrangement; a rendered concept helps people imagine the space. With floor plan rendering, upload a plan image and choose a dollhouse, eye-level, or axonometric presentation. Compare how each viewpoint communicates the same proposal to a client or household member.
The result is a flat image with a three-dimensional appearance, not an editable 3D model. Check the reference and output side by side: the AI can change proportions and details. Use the rendering for discussion, then have the underlying design checked before practical work begins.

You can annotate images and request AI changes; schematic templates provide editable room labels and boundary linework. Neither type is a ready-to-build architectural package. Adapt the example to your actual dimensions and keep notes about what still needs verification.
Room Floor Plan Generator
Use the room floor plan generator for a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, or home office. Enter the room dimensions and describe the furniture or activities it must support. A smaller brief makes it easier to compare options such as a different bed position or a clearer route between doors.
Measure the actual furniture as well as the room. Leave space for opening doors, pulling out chairs, and reaching storage. The image is a planning aid; it does not calculate or certify clearance requirements. For connected rooms and circulation through an entire home, use the main floor plan generator.

Length and area use different factors. Convert wall lengths as lengths and floor areas as areas, then label the units beside every number. Keep extra decimal places during calculations and round only the final result to the precision appropriate for your measurement.

Can I generate a floor plan for free?

Can I make a floor plan without drawing skills?
Yes. Describe the rooms and priorities in the tool above, or start from a schematic template. The output gives you a visual draft to review. Keep your measured notes alongside it so you can spot missing rooms or changed openings.
Can AI produce a floor plan with exact dimensions?
An AI image alone cannot establish exact dimensions. For supported single-storey rectangular apartments, the measured layout planner calculates coordinates and checks its encoded constraints. Review the supported scope and unresolved checks; neither mode verifies real-site conditions or certifies a construction plan.
How do I change one room without starting over?
Continue from the current image and describe the change plus the features to keep. For an isolated visual change, open the image in the editor and select a rectangular area. Full-image AI revisions can still alter other details; compare versions. Measured layouts have a separate workflow for supported local geometry changes.
Can I upload a sketch, PDF or existing floor plan?
Use a PNG or JPEG up to 8 MB in the floor plan editor. Export a PDF page or CAD drawing as an image in your own software first. A sketch can guide an image edit, but it is not automatically converted into a measured model.
Can I choose the language of the room labels?
Yes. The label-language setting controls text requested inside the generated image. English is the default; select another language or enter a language name. The language of your prompt does not automatically change this setting. Check generated spelling before sharing.
Can I download PNG, PDF, SVG or DXF?
AI images can be exported as PNG or PDF. Template DXF contains schematic linework; image-to-DXF tools require you to review lines and calibrate them. Supported measured layouts export SVG, PNG, PDF and DXF from their coordinates. An image download is not automatically editable CAD.
Can I build directly from the generated plan?
No. Use it to explain your preferred arrangement and prepare a design brief. Site measurements, structure, services and applicable building requirements need professional verification before construction. The review checklist helps organize the handoff.
